Daily
Calendar
We open every day
with calendar
activities. This is a very important part of our morning routine in
kindergarten. We usually spend 15-20 minutes daily. Many of the
kindergarten math skills are taught through the calendar.

Time

American Flag

Texas Flag

- Create a pattern
on the calendar: The
pieces of the calendar are in a pattern. The children love to predict
what calendar piece will come next. We read these calendar patterns in
different ways. A red-blue-red-blue-red pattern might be read
snap-clap-snap-clap-snap.
